In this follow-up workshop, Kendra will delve into the practicalities of creating and nurturing a community of mathematicians in the classroom. Using a math workshop approach, she will share engaging examples and tasks designed to foster communication, collaboration and a love for mathematics among your students. You'll leave with hands-on strategies and activities to immediately implement in your classroom. Examples and tasks will be specific to grade levels, though teachers may choose to attend both sessions to experience the range of mathematical content across grades if they wish.
