🌟 Welcome to the Mathematizer Monthly!

I’m so glad you’re here.

You’re not behind, and you don’t need to teach math in any one “right” way to belong here. This is a space for you to slow down, explore, and grow at your own pace. Confidence is built in the small moments of trying something new, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Our Community Values

To ensure our community feels welcoming, supportive, and inspiring, we commit to:

1️⃣ Nurture Belonging (Identity): We honor each educator’s unique journey. Whether you’re feeling confident or unsure, your voice matters here. Celebrate each other’s growth and recognize that every step forward is worth noticing.

2️⃣ Embrace Growth (Mindset): Approach challenges with curiosity, not judgment. We all bring different experiences—lean into them as opportunities to learn, reflect, and expand your thinking.

3️⃣ Communicate with Care (Communication): Share generously, listen deeply, and respond with kindness. Keep feedback constructive and supportive, mirroring the math communities we want to build for students.

4️⃣ Collaborate for Impact (Collaboration): Give as much as you take. Offer encouragement, share strategies, and ask thoughtful questions. Together, we create more than we ever could alone.

✨ Our shared goal: to create a safe, positive space where elementary educators feel empowered to teach math with confidence, joy, and equity.
